Welcome to The Secret Bar...
The Secret Bar can be anywhere. One day it could be the Aquarium at Cap Blanc and the next, it could be Babel on Plaça de s'Església; it could be the delightful Café Putamayo (which is where Xavi met Rolo but that’s a different story) or it could even be outside the supermarket at the southern end of sunset strip. It’s that one place on the white island where you recharge your batteries and try to have a quiet night with dear friends and loved ones, even if it ends with one last round and then another and broken flip-flops. It’s where they bring you a top up before you realise you’re empty. It’s where you’re on first name terms with the bar staff but not paying extra to feel famous. It’s where the music is always that little bit better!
If our first album was a love letter to the rural side of white island life then this is our attempt to capture the sound of Ibiza at dusk. That crossover hour, when the last sunrays set the sky aflame and the rocks outside the Café Del Mar empty. It’s when the night is full of promise and you feel anything can happen.
These are the sounds of The Secret Bar.
